Know Me More

    At a full-moon night in the fall of 1972, a pretty boy was born in a quiet village in East China. The family's second boy brought new joyness to the parents while pushed his older brother aside. After several years of endless chasing for dragonflies, frogs in a nearby river, this boy grew up and was sent to a local primary school and then a middle school where he made up his mind to be a scientist. He was quite hesitated while he had to decide whether biology or computer suits him better. This decison led him through college life in Department of Microbiology, Shandong University and graduate life in Institute of Cell Biology, CAS. He was a little bit disappointed when he realized oppatunities are so limited for sciences in China, he made another important decision in his life: Go to the States, as millions of his peers do. So he was here in Duke and began his new jerney of life.

He married a beautiful lady he met in college, who lives happily with him from then.
